Frequently Asked Questions
How often should my lawn be cut?
Every lawn is different, especially depending on what kinds of grass you have growing in your yard. But typically in Iowa having the grass cut every week or every other week from May 1 to October 31 is the best way to keep your lawn looking healthy and maintained throughout the year.
Why can’t my lawn just be cut shorter than normal and be cut fewer times throughout the year?
While you can take this approach, Iowa weather being what it is doesn’t usually remain consistent for very long, making this approach very risky as cutting your lawn too short can lead to dead spaces in the yard.
Why would i pay someone to mow my lawn when i could do it myself?
You probably wouldn’t find yourself on our website if you hadn’t thought of a good reason as to why you would pay someone else to do it for you. But if not here are a few key reasons.
It saves you time to do the things you enjoy doing!
It gives you peace of mind to know that your lawn will be mowed properly and promptly every time.
No more nagging from the wife or the city.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have the nicest lawn on the block without having to lift a finger to achieve it?
Can’t I just call you to come out and cut my lawn when it works best for me? Why do I need to sign up for a contract?
While you’re more than welcome to call us each time you’d like your lawn mowed, our schedule fills up quickly and there’s no telling what the weather in Iowa might do that could set us even farther back in the scheduling. So if you want the peace of mind that your lawn will be maintained regularly, and properly go ahead and sign up for a weekly or twice per month contract.
